Dedication to Excellence. Kintyre Shelties is a small but dedicated breeding and show kennel
located in the Lake Norman community of
Mooresville, North Carolina where we strive to
achieve the superior quality as set forth by the American Shetland Sheepdog
Association.
A bit of history... Kintyre Shelties began in 1981 with the acquisition of a puppy from
Barbara Kenealy. Simon was shown as a
youngster, but family and career issues put the dream of Kintyre on hold. He was
returned to Barbara and became Ch.
Rockwood Kintyre's Rymin' Simon.
Simon is Kintyre's inspiration to this day.
...and where we are going. In 2000, it was time to begin again and through the generosity of many
new friends, and old friends too, Kintyre is proud to showcase here what we have
accomplished so far, and our vision for the future.
